The Watermelon Dance is the monthly club sponsored dance and is mostly held on the FOURTH Saturday of each month.

All Watermelon Dances are currently held at: Haddonfield School of Dance

Cost of dance: $10 Del Val Members; $12 non members (unless otherwise advertised)) includes lessons, our Smorgasboard
Snack Table and beverages - BYOB & Coolers!! Parking is FREE.
8:00-8:30pm: your choice of an Introductory lesson for those wanting to learn to dance or an Intermediate lesson for those
who already know how to dance. We teach mostly West Coast Swing and Shag, but we do occasionally teach
other dances styles.
8:30-midnight: Social dancing. A night of swing - lots of swing! While our dancers tend to dance more WCS you will also see
Shag being danced. We will even add in a Night Club 2 and/or Country Two Step here and there!
Music format: Our Club DJs Rob and Charlie play a great mix of rhythm and blues, blues, some contemporary, some time
honored favorites and even a Gospel here and there! Up til round 11ish they will take requests also.
Friendly people - Fun dancing - Good music. Free parking - It's a great place to be!
